"BUMP!" is a fun way for your students to practice high-frequency words. It allows for repeated exposure to the words you want your children to recognize automatically, but in an engaging and kinesthetic way that is sometimes lost in traditional flash-card practice.
DIRECTIONS:
This set includes common kindergarten sight words. Instead of writing the words on paper flash cards, this download presents the words electronically, in a slide show. Randomly placed throughout the sight words is the word "BUMP!" Your students' attention will be focused on reading the sight words as they anticipate seeing the word "BUMP!" while reading. When they see that word, they pop up in their seats and shout "BUMP!"
This set is the easiest of the sets. In other sets available in this store, the sight words increase in difficulty and there are other action cards randomly placed throughout the set. They include fun cards such as "WIGGLE," "CLAP," "STOMP," and "SNAP!"
If you use computers during center time, you can load the slide show onto student computers to allow for independent or partner practice.

My class will love this game. I purchased Bump and thought that I would be able to get it as a PPT. Other sellers have some of their work as PPT and are able to make sure it isn't editable. Is there a way we can get it as a PPT? I would love to put this on the screen and let it run while I am doing the million other little tasks of a teacher. Thanks for any input!

I'll ask our tech specialist at school tomorrow. I don't know how to save a Power Point as an uneditable document without saving it as a PDF. The PDF version will still advance by pressing the arrow key on the keyboard... maybe a student helper would like to do that part. I will ask, though... I'd love to learn something new. I'll get back to you when I find out. Thanks! :)

To post items onto TPT, I need to save the products as a PDF so they're not editable. This is the reason the item opens in Adobe. You don't have to put it into a Power Point document to run it, though. Even as a PDF, you can advance the slides by using your down-arrow key or your right-arrow key. I hope this helps. Please let me know if that doesn't work.
