Eleven jars labels encourage students to share with others nuggets of info such as: My favorite color is_________; I'm proud of myself because______. Jayne Robbins produced this Spice Of Life Rack activity as an ice-breaker to promote self esteem in her new students. This activity also serves as an interest inventory at the start of the new year.

Thanks so much for sharing this.
I am going to have my third graders fill this out, then hang them all up during conferences. It will give parents/ kids something to read in the hallway while they are waiting for their conference time.
