This 127-page Back-To-School Pack has lots of lesson ideas for the first week students return in the fall. Many of them were inspired by fun children's literature that can be found in your local or school libraries:

For a little extra fun, you'll also find END-OF-THE-WEEK AWARDS you can use to recognize the students' efforts and a BACK-TO-SCHOOL JEOPARDY GAME. The game is a fun way to cap off the week and to see what the students remember about their school and their new friends!
Included, is an Open House section with SIGN-IN SHEETS, A SCAVENGER HUNT, TREAT BAG TAGS, PARENT LOVE LETTERS, and a HELPING HANDS POSTER to help make your donation needs known to parents.
Each activity is open-ended, including the discussion questions for each book. The ideas in this set will work for all primary grades. The only item that may be difficult for K/1 will be the readers' theater script for The Great Fuzz Frenzy, but everything else is applicable to all grade levels.
