This song provides students a chance to practice the note names of the music alphabet in backwards order (G, F, E, D, C, B, A), to help in situations where notes are moving in descending order. This is song #3 in a set of 13 songs that I've written to help my choir students learn basic music theory. These songs have worked really well for my students, and we spend more time singing and less time doing written work.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I currently teach Junior High Vocal Music: Choir and General Music. I'm the Assistant Director for the Lawrence Children's Choir and also teach private voice lessons (high school students, mostly.) I'm an alum of the Voice Care Network and have a Master's in Vocal Performance. I've taught singing at every level, including college, but find that there's something uniquely delightful (and challenging!) about working with Junior High-aged people!
