Back to School Literacy and Math Pack (K-1)

This back-to-school pack boasts 80 pages of literacy and math activities that are perfectly balanced for both beginning of the year kindergarteners and first graders.

Literacy Activities:

Capital and Lowercase Parking Lot: Students can practice matching capital to lowercase letters by parking their bus in the correct parking spot.

Beginning Sound Parking Lot: Students practice matching beginning sounds by parking their letter bus in the correct parking spot (a - apple, b- butterfly, etc.) A recording sheet is provided.

Font Sort: Students are exposed to different fonts as they sort the letters on their sorting mats.

Rhyming Bingo: Students practice rhyming skills by identifying the picture on their card that rhymes with the word read by the teacher. Seven different bingo cards are available.

School Supply Syllables: Students turn over a school supply card and clap out the number of syllables. They then record the number of claps next to that object on their recording sheet.

Math Activities:

Ten-Frame Bingo: Students are matching ten-frames to the number called by the teacher. Numbers 1-20 are used for this activity. Blank bingo cards and separate ten-frames are included for personalization.

Fill the Bus: Students identify missing numbers and cover them with number cards. A recording sheet is provided.

An Apple for the Teacher: Students match a set of apples to the correct number on the teacher's desk.
