"Back to School - Middle School Me" is an awesome way to get to know your students at the beginning of the school year.
There are five activities. Starting with a get to know you form completion and ending with an activity that will be bring tears to your students' parents on back-to-school night.
You will have a chance to get to know the REAL middle school students sitting before you in the classroom early in the school year with these activities.
It doesn't matter if your students already know each other. These activities will explore new areas, things they probably don't know.
The activity now contains a PREZI. This bonus Prezi is a cool way to introduce the get-to-know-you activities. The Prezi includes 3 video clips allowing you to bring multimedia into your classroom. It is not necessary to show the Prezi but they are fun.
Prezi directions - When you open the zip file the Back to School Middle School Me Prezi will be in the folder. When you open the folder click on the blue circle Prezi the other items in the folder is just data information.
The pdf files are the student activities.

You can definitely use these activities throughout the year. I really think it would work well to do one a month, or do some just before the holiday. The questions are unusual and interesting to the students. I plan to use some of the activities for parent conferences (yes we are having parent conferences in middle school this year) and to post for our spring open house. Thanks for rating and purchasing.

It's a really cool presentation method - no special program needed. I have a free one in my TPT store that has to do with common core vocab. Down load that one so you can see an example (please leave a rating if you download it)
When you open the file click on the blue Prezi symbol - everything else can be ignored it's just data to make the Prezi run. You don't need the Prezi to do the activities it was just a bonus fun thing.
Did you get it to open? Unzip the folder, click on the unzipped folder, in the folder is a blue P, click on the blue P (the rest is just data to run it).

Hi Amy the most likely answer is that you should download and open in "save" not preview. The files are PDF files and both PCs and Macs can open PDF files.
For the Prezi, the only file you should open is the one that is a little blue circle that says "Prezi" inside the folder. Everything else in the Prezi folder is data to make the Prezzi run.
That should help - let me know if after you. Try opening from save if you still have problems and I will see what we can do. I've sold quite a few of these and I am positive they work. Good luck
