Our Sharing Program gives students a unique opportunity to share their writing in front of the class while practicing beginning public speaking skills. Each writing page focuses on gettin back into the swing of things as you start off the new year. Christy and Tammy have each been teaching for 15 years, the past 10 together sharing a first grade classroom. Each teaching at separate schools in our district, we found each other after becoming first time moms and wanting {needing} to return to the classroom and our passion of teaching. We decided to job share until our own kids entered Kindergarten...those kids just turned 10 years old! Though we began this journey as teacher strangers and new moms, we have found a partnership and friendship that will last a lifetime. We are the teachers we are because of each other and we cannot imagine teaching without one another.
