I've read this story every year to second graders to talk about Names, but this year working with 3rd grade I wanted to focus on the "bullying" and "unkind" theme. The students really seemed to take it in. Great "wrinkle paper activity" for hands-on visual to focus on bullying and kindness. Also liked the Name activity for parents.

I was disappointed that there was no kid craft to go with it (only the writing prompts).
I absolutely love this activity! I have a small obsession with names, and can't wait to read what the parents say! Thanks for being so willing to translate into Spanish, too. That will give me more responses from my parents.

It finally let me download it! Sorry, I'm not sure what the problem was.
We're grade partners and great friends! We are in our third year of teaching 2nd grade together. Between the two of us, we previously taught middle school, special ed, and third grade.
