Start the school year off with everyone's favorite kindergarten teacher! "I Have, Who Has?" Alphabet Game: A deck of cards to play this classic chain game. "I have A, who has M? I have M, who has S?"
Rhyming Name Game: Match each student from Miss B's class with a picture that rhymes with his or her name. Great for use in a pocket chart or Literacy Station.
Miss B's Class Pictures: Pair the lowercase alphabet cards with the class photo of the student whose name begins with the same uppercase letter. Great to use in a pocket chart or Literacy Center.
"The Letters in My Name" Letter Sort: Students cut, paste and sort colorful letter tiles and glue them onto a student graph indicating which letters are in their names.
Getting Ready for Kindergarten: An original book with four versions; a large, full color shared reading book, a small, full-color guided reader, a small b&w emergent reader with one word on each page left out for the students to write and a large b&w version for students to copy the text. Great for differentiating. All four versions have a cover and eight pages.
How Many Friends? - Number Match: Match the Miss B numeral cards with the class photo cards that show the correct number of students. Great for use in a Math Station.

Great materials and activities. I plan to use most of the activities during the first week of school with my kindergarteners. The only activity that I do not believe the majority of my students will be able to do is the activity where they copy the sentences, but this will be a great assessment regardless. Thanks!
