Back to school Starter Pack APPLE THEME

It is always nice to have a few ideas stored away for those first beginning days of school! Apples have traditionally been a fun school theme and one that most children can relate. In this package you will find these resources:
1. Apple themed desk labels
2. Apple name tags
3. Apple bookmarks
4. B.E.E. labels for the front of student folders or binders. I have also included a blank copy that can be used for several other labeling projects!
5. Graphing activity – How many girls? How many boys? There are a few ways to do this activity. Children sort themselves by boys and girls and record the numbers on the simple graph and write about their results on the recording sheet.

7. An Apple song to teach students how to spell APPLE.
8. Poster sized letters for students to hold while the song is being sung.
9. An Apple handwriting page. There are 2 versions – one with lower case letters and the other with upper case letters. Students copy the word apple on the handwriting lines. After copying the word, they use crayons or cut paper to make an apple. Encourage their creativity!
10. Beginning sound alphabet match – Students match the beginning sound pictures to the proper letter. When they have finished matching, they draw a picture of each beginning sound next to its letter on the recording sheet.
