I love to use crossword puzzles as a means to reinforce vocabulary and to practice spelling. This is a crossword puzzle that covers the topic of bacteria and the prokaryotes. I use this when teaching my unit on Viruses and Bacteria.
This could be used as a review for a test, as a homework assignment, as a classwork assignment or as a quiz.
