This Smartboard activity gives your students practice in adding endings to base words. Just have them spin each spinner and if the base word + ending = new word then have them write the word in the box. There are opportunities to discuss some of the rules for adding endings such as with cvc patterns you need to double the final consonant before adding the ending or dropping the final "e" in a CVCe pattern.
