This is a one-page handout on some essential Spanish nouns, based on the practical conversation course "Spanish that Works for You" (available on Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com). The handout includes basic people and family words, things, and places. The handout reinforces and expands on the basic vocabulary taught in “Spanish that Works for You” and can be used to practice the mini-dialogues after each lesson. The handout can also be used as a study guide or reference in class or on the job, or to teach a lesson on Spanish nouns. (Note: Nouns ending in something other than –O or –A and exceptions to the rule are labeled (m.) or (f.) to indicate noun gender.) The pronunciation guide (see also the free "Saying & Understanding" handout) trains English speakers to both understand and speak Latin American Spanish.
