These cards cover the four basic parts of speech: Noun, Verb, Adjective, Adverb. Each card includes a definition and example sentence.
These cards can be used as a quick formative assessment tool, when students would show that they know the role and function of words that they are using or spelling. I am using these cards during Word Work, as we teach not only spelling, but parts of speech.
Check back soon for upper-level grammar to be added.
Print, copy, and laminate for each student to use. Possibly hole punch and bind cards together on a binder ring.
