Played like the ever popular Go Fish game, Batter Up! gets kids involved in a group activity while using the fraction skills they are learning. Matching cards with the fraction represented in picture form with the numeric form helps children get the idea of basic fractions, numerators, and denominators. This set, created by Terry Palmieri, features 46 game cards (23 sets) plus a directions card in easy to read language for primary or intermediate grades. The fractions were chosen randomly and range from thirds to tenths.
Simply copy on heavy paper, cut apart and laminate for longer wear.
