PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Growing plants is a great way to get young children excited about nature. This set of experiments is a wonderful fall lesson that ties in well to your pumpkin and Native American themes. The "Three Sisters" is what some Native American tribes called three key crops: squash, corn and beans. After exploring pumpkins, move onto corn and beans and grow them with your class. Your students will get to take home their own bean seedling. My pre-k class loves these projects each year. I have included an overview, directions, a materials list, suggestions for your fall science center, and even a printable handout for parents that details the project. If you like this product, please rate it, then visit my store for more science lessons for young children. Thanks. Kristin Berrier
