As a graduate student I was looking for a good resource for ideas on teaching reading and writing that I could use in a report I was writing. I found excellent theory and practical ideas. This book was very helpful. As a kindergarten teacher I liked the graphic organizers and the gray boxes throughout the book that give ideas from actual teachers. I find that this format makes it easy for me to quickly glance through the book and find a new idea. I would recommend this book to future teachers as well as current teachers.
