Thanks for leaving a comment. I haven't really thought about other clip art. The art I have is specifically designed for my products. General clip art sellers really do not have art designed to address specific phonics skills and sometimes that art that is too busy detracts from the intent of the lesson. But thanks, it's always good to think about options.

When I looked at the file, there were pics for every letter except x. I did not add pictures for x because the sound for x is /ks/ and there are no words/pics for that beginning sound. So xylophone actually begins with the /z/ sound, so that picture wouldn't work for this activity. The /ks/ sound for x is found at the end of words. Since this is a phonemic awareness activity geared to listening and isolating beginning sounds, x just wouldn't work. Sorry. Let me know if you would like something specific with the sounds/letters and I'll see if I have the matching clip art. Thanks. Julie

I am a RtI Coordinator working closely with K-3rd grade teachers providing hands-on support and professional development in the area of reading. My focus is using assessment data to guide classroom instruction as well as intervention for at-risk learners. Make, Take & Teach is my way of providing teachers with the materials they need for their small group intervention. Most activities can also be used in literacy centers. Teacher intervention kits contain 15 activities (already printed for you in color and on 90lb cardstock) which align to one of the Big Five Ideas and commonly adminstered assessments (e.g. DIBELS Next).
