In this packet there are 4 activities that you can do with your students in those first weeks of school when every one is trying to learn names.
How many Syllables?:
There is a chart to write student's name under the correct number of syllables in their name.
There is a Tally Chart to record the number of Syllables in each student�s name.
Question sheet included.
How many Letters?:
Make enough copies of the letter tiles for students to spell out names of their classmates. They will record (write) everyone's name in the chart under the correct number of letters.
Spell it Out Mat: Laminate this sheet so students can use over and over again at a center to practice spelling words and recording the numbers of letters in each word.
E-I-E-I-O Song:
There is a song outline and ideas of ways to sing it with your students to learn more about them.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have 10 total years of teaching experience in grades 1st-4th in North Carolina. I am now a stay at home mom, busy teaching my 4 year old and 2 year old. My experiences as a teacher and mom go into every product I make. I create items that hopefully make a teacher's classroom organized and lessons where their students stay highly engaged.
