Bye-Bye Treasure Box! If you're like me, keeping up with a treasure box can get expensive and just one more thing to remember to tackle each week with my kiddos. This packet allows you to trash your treasure box and spend virtually NO money on rewarding your students for good behavior. Packet offers 27 alternative rewards to prize boxes/treasure boxes, like:
-stinky feet
-swip-swap - trade desks with a friend for a day
-super supplies - use teacher's fancy supplies
-fluffy friend - bring a stuffed animal
-rockin' my hat - bring a hat for the day
-can you dig it? - extra computer time
-morning greeter
-one night no homework
Included are 2 files:
-A behavior catalog for 'shopping' for a prize once students have earned enough 'good' days with your classroom management system (like the clips or stop light). My students last year LOVED going 'shopping' in the catalog and flipping through every page to find what was just right for them. Each page has reward title, a cute picture, and explanation of what the reward is. 27 CHOICES IN ALL! Use a 3-ring binder and clear plastic sleeves to create your catalog.
-A set of reward coupons that match the items in the behavior catalog. Once students have earned their prize and chosen from the catalog, they can receive a coupon and can use it when they choose. I also let them put their coupon in their homework folder to take home to show their parents the prize they earned. Another idea is to put the coupon in the clear name tag necklaces for students to wear when they use their coupon.
Trust me, once you print & laminate, the work is done! Students love the recognition and it makes rewarding good behavior so much easier! Check out the preview for an example.
I LOVE this product and my students adore it too! Many of them are very excited about getting to choose something from the catalog, and getting my students excited is not easily done!

My students love this!! It is cheap and rewarding.
Just wonderful. My class loves the rewards better than my prize box! This saves me so much time and money.

I am IN LOVE with this behavior management system! I am currently student teaching so I have not been able to implement it yet, but I did use the materials for a sample discipline plan for one of my college courses. My classmates were impressed and so was the professor! Also, my daughter (a kindergartener) has looked through the catalog about 15 times and she keeps saying how she wishes she could have one in her class. Great job!

I saw this on pinterest and decided to try it before my stash of treasure box toys was gone. The kids are choosing the coupons over the toys. This is great and so cute.

Could you add "milk and cookies" as a reward. Our kiddos can earn milk and cookies or pizza with the principal.

I still use the treat jar as an optional reward, if you can add that it would be great!

Will I be able to change your name to my name on the cover of the catalog?
There is a different cover in the download that leaves the teacher's name off. Sorry, it is not editable to put a name, but there is a page without my name on it to use for the cover. hope this helps!
