I created these to go along with the Rick Morris clip chart. I just needed something more bright and colorful than just the primary colors he used. The colors on these posters still match but are brightened up with polka dot borders and a fun font. They are made to be printed on 8.5" x 14" legal size paper.
How do I put this together?
The pages go in the order they are printed from top to bottom. The poster is meant to be hung portrait style with the posters 'stacked' on top of each other. Cut out the smaller sections then glue it all to a poster board (cut down the middle, like a hot dog fold, and glue the top of one end to the bottom of the other). I laminated mine to make it more sturdy.
How do I use this?
Each of the students get a clothespin with their name on it. The clothespins are placed on either side of the chart beginning at 'Ready to Learn'. Throughout the day the students' clothespins can move up for good behavior or down for bad, the clothespins can move up and down throughout the entire day so they have a chance to change their bad behavior.
Now the other 2 forms attached are for recording. The Behavior Report is meant to be used as communication between home and school. It has a replica of the chart for each day of the week along with a place for a parent signature. The Make Better Choices page is meant to be sent home on an as needed basis, when the student stays below "Ready to Learn". My plan is to chop this copy in half and take it in to be ran on carbon copy paper so I can always have a copy.
Note: The preview download contains for the forms for you to see.

Can you make this so I can edit it? I use different catefories?
This will be my first year using this system, but I do plan to give our raffle tickets for students who are above ready to learn. My plan is to give them out on Friday when they turn in their weekly report. They'll get 1 raffle ticket for each day the ended above Ready to Learn. :) I hope that helps!
