B.U.G. stands for Being Unusually Good.
This is the perfect system when your class needs a new
incentive program. Print off the bug charts on card stock and
cut apart. Students can earn a B.U.G. when you catch them
being usually good. Remind them that they can't ask for
B.U.G.s and can't tell you when they are showing "Buggy"
behavior. The more often they are "Buggy", the greater their chances are that you will catch them and give them a B.U.G.
If a student is having a really bad day, he/she can get a frog. When that happens, the frog "eats" all of the bugs.
You can organize it however it fits your class best. I gave my students a prize (computer time, write one assignment with a gel pen, sit by a friend at lunch) when they earned 5 bugs.
