Is tattling wasting too much time in your classroom? Then try my Tattle Tale Book. Just print the cover onto card stock, laminate it along with a blank card stock for the back cover. Then make 25-50 pages of the inside page back to back and then bind the whole book together. This was created in Microsoft Word so you can easily change my name to your name. The next time a student attempts to tattle have them grab the Tattle Tale Book. They write down their problem at the top, and you respond (in your spare time) at the bottom. The Tattle Tale book is the most popular book in my classroom. Not only does it virtually eliminate tattling, but it also encourages students to express themselves in writing.
