I just downloaded this file and love it. However, is there any way to get an editable file of the lesson plan template?
Hi there Mary! Yes! I include non-fiction and fiction activities! :)

This is a fabulous resource Rachelle! Would you consider adding pages with alternative spellings for those of us in Australia who spell words like colour, favourite and grey differently?

Hi ~ i purchased this kit a couple weeks ago and am loving it! Such great practical word pictures for the kids. I have a question as I just happenned upon your blog post about this and your record keeping binder. Would you be able to send me your page that says "Analyzing Running Records"? Also, which books do you use to take the Running Record? Our school uses McMillan (I'm not a huge fan of it) and the books that they provide for giving the Running Record are a full TWO levels above the guided readers we use daily. For instance, a child may be reading a level C Guided Reader instructionally, but when we give them the running record at Level C they test out as a non-reader. It is really frustrating for us as teachers as it is not an accurate picture of their reading level. Love to hear your thoughts.
Hi Rachelle! I recently bought your "Being a Guided Reading Wizard" and love it. When I download it, it opens in Powerpoint and some of the text is coming off the page. Just wondering if it is supposed to be a Powerpoint or a PDF? Thanks!
I'm so sorry! Download it again! I had edited it a few days ago and instead of uploading it as a PDF, I uploaded the PPT. I need more sleep! HA! :) Sorry!

Hi Rachelle,
I love everything in this packet!! You have put so many great ideas together, it's fantastic!
Just wanted to say that some of the words on the cupcakes are hard to read because they are pink and the cupcakes are pink (on the short/long vowel word sort game).
Thanks so much for creating this, you have made life easier for me. :-)
Hi Rachelle!
I absolutely love your work and the things you have put together, wondering if you have any guided reading stuff I can use with 3rd grade. I am struggling so much with guided reading and went on your blog and made the velcro folder to keep track of levels and the other materials- but I hate to buy the packet if its too low for my kids. Let me know your thoughts! thanks so much for all you do- its wonderful! : )
Ahhh! Thanks for the kind words! I don't have really anything for 3rd grade guided reading! But, can you email me? I might have some ideas! :) whattheteacherwants@gmail.com

I purchased this and have the receipt for payment through PayPal, but it is not showing up in my purchases. Any ideas? I really needed it for a guided reading planning workshop tomorrow. Thanks for any help you can offer.
Hi there! I'm not sure, but TpT can take care of that for you if you email them info@teacherspayteachers.com
BUT, since you need it ASAP, just email me and I'll get it right to you! whattheteacherwants@gmail.com

Hi Rachelle,
I hope you can help me. I paid for your - being a guided reading wizard last nigh on my home computer. It was a digital download and I started to print it, but something happened to my printer and it only printed about 3/4 of it. I saved it on my desktop, but it saved only the words no pictures. I'm not sure what to do, go I have to pay for it again?
No! Just log onto your Teachers Pay Teachers account again and click on "My Purchases" at the top of the page. You can download another copy of the packet for free! If you have any other questions, let me know! Thanks for your purchase!

I am new to this whole TPT site and blogging :) I can't figure out how to thank you in the ratings and feedback area. I appreciate your willingness to add the wh poster. I just noticed that someone had already asked you this same question. Sorry!! But thank you for uploading the poster. It is perfect.
I do have something! I didn't include them in the packet for a few reasons:
1. My packet was almost TOO big to upload!
2. I teach the "ph" and "wh" digraphs separate because for some of my early readers, it's a little overwhelming.
I'll be emailing you! :)

Hi Rachelle! This looks wonderful! I teach 2nd grade, and noticed that you state this would be most helpful for K and 1st. Do you think a 2nd grade teacher could use and/or modify the ideas for 2nd graders? Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas with us! :)
Hi there! Yes, it's most suitable for kinder and 1st; but I really think you could almost use all of the things in 2nd grade. You would especially like the comprehension and vocabulary tools. You might have some lower readers that could benefit from the long/short vowel games.
