This is a end of the unit creative project for high school kids. The students are put in groups of four to create either a movie pitch (for their own unique version of the story of Beowulf) or a Kamishibai production. Kamishibai is a Japanese folk art / performance where students create scene cards with illustrations and a clever script (plus sound effects!). Easily adaptable to almost any story/novel study. I've had nothing but amazing results when assigning this project...hope you do, too!
