Comets and Meteors: This 12 question video guide with teacher key covers the Bill Nye Comets and Meteors video or DVD. It covers asteroids, meteorites, meteors, comets, elliptical orbits, and craters formed by meteorites. This could be used in a general science, astronomy or Earth Science classroom.
Outer Space:
This is a 22 question video guide to go along with Bill Nye's Outer Space Video. You will need to have the video in order to use this product. This product shows relative distances in space, light years, constellations, meteorites, and the sun. This could be used in a general science or astronomy classroom.
The Moon: This 19 question video guide with included teacher key is designed to go along with the Bill Nye The Moon video or DVD. You will need to have the video to use this product. This product covers solar and lunar eclipses, how we can see the moon, tides and the moon's gravity. This would work well in a general science, Earth Science or Astronomy class.
The Planets: This set of 11 questions along with teacher key goes along with the Bill Nye The Planets video or DVD. This product covers the planets and planetary orbits. This would work well in an Astronomy, Earth Science or general science classroom.
The Sun: This 13 question video guide with teacher key covers the Bill Nye The Sun video or DVD. It covers the sun's size and temperature, the sun's role in providing energy for the Earth, photovoltaic cells, protection from the sun, solar eclipses, and sunspots. This could be used in a general science, space science or Earth science classroom.
Having students take notes during a video increases their retention from the video and gives them something to take home and study. Through creating fill-in-the-blank video note guides, students can get comprehensive notes to take home while having enough time to both appreciate the video and get the notes.

What a great resource!
Saved me when an "Assembly Schedule" threw off my plans to give a test on Friday! Bill Nye filled the gap and having this set of Q's ready to use really helped.
I reformatted to a sans serif font and increased space between q's to help the ELL and SpEd students in the classes.

Nicole has taught for taught for 6 years in the public schools.
