All you need for this project (besides thes sheets) is a few biographies on your kids' reading levels. Students get in depth into their biography by completing timelines, narratives and creative projects. If you have time for the presentations at the end, the kids truly get to make their biographies "come to life". Grading rubrics included. Tested with real students in the classroom of Heidi Raki.

I currently teach first grade at an American School in Casablanca, Morocco. Previously, I taught all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have also taught 3rd grade for 4 years. I student-taught in 3rd grade and Kindergartden. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
