These are 52 Monster cards with 52 description cards to practice vocabulary of the body. The monster cards are also numbered if you want to practice numbers as well. On the description cards the monster's body is described in detail in Spanish in the present tense and the last sentence describes the monsters personality, profession, likes or dislikes, or how it's feeling at the moment. The monsters clothing may also be described as well. The body vocabulary used is cabeza, ojos, nariz, boca, dientes, orejas, brazos, manos, dedos, pienas, pies, dedos, dedos del pie, estomago, hombros, pelo and cuello. Special monster anatomy is also used and a vocabulary poster and handout are included for student use. Those words are dientes putiagudos, alas, placas, antenas, cuernos, cascos, cola and espinas. Simple adjectives used are castano, pelirrojo, delagado, alto, bajo, grande, pequeno, largo, corto, puntiagudo, canoso, generoso and color words. To use print on light weight card stock and laminate prior to use. Display the monsters on the board. Divide the description cards equally between teams of four. Set the timer for 10-15 minutes or as you see fit. Teams read the cards and try to match their cards to the monster. At the end of the time the team with the most correct matches wins.
