This is a 10 page booklet, created years ago on a program I don't even have any more. When I converted to pdf, the odd word was cut off, but the document is still entirely functional.
Lots of visual explanations using number lines as well as a detailled explanation of the operations from a time when I cared to get into such detail. :)

Thanks. Since I no longer have the software that I used about 6 years ago to create this, I can't fix the little things like arrow placement etc. Still, I thought it was worth salvaging!

I'm a retired professional math tutor with 18 years of experience tutoring, teaching, administering and advising high school and university students. Many people use tutoring as a stepping stone to gain experience for a career in teaching. Others stumble into it later in life as an interesting endeavour on the side. Few choose to devote themselves to the art and craft of tutoring one-on-one. I did.
