You've probably seen the cute little wooden critters and objects at your local Pat Catans or Hobby Lobby, and chances are, you've probably seen them attached to wooden dowels as pointers. This center gives them another purpose as the contents of a "Brainstorm Box". You can pick the wooden critters up for 50 cents or less, and they are great tangible writing prompts/idea generators for writers in a rut. They could also be used to generate adjectives or write alliterative sentences. The sky is the limit. This download includes two options for labels (in B&W and color) and photographs of the center!
