Break the Sight Word Code is a FUN way to reinforce sight words and get children excited about learning!
This set has 30 Break the Sight Word Code worksheets that work specifically with all 40 pre-primer sight words and simple CVC words. Students will enjoy learning to read as they become detectives and solve the sight word sentence!
These printables would be a wonderful addition to any literacy center. They can be placed into sleeve protectors and used over and over.

Phonemic Awareness
1.9-Blend vowel-consonant sounds orally to make words or syllables.
Decoding and Word Recognition
1.14-Match all consonant and short-vowel sounds to appropriate letters.
1.15-Read simple one-syllable and high frequency words (sight words).
