Help your students identify and read sight words with this fun game! You can play in many ways: print, cut and laminate all the fish and attach a paper clip or staple to each fish. Have students catch the fish using magnetic rods...or...use the whales (that read "Bubble") and play this game like you would the popular games "Crash" or "Bang". Learning sight words has never been so fun! Happy teaching!

What a creative hands on way to practice sight word!! Can't wait to try it out. What about adding a page of blank fish so that students can add a couple of their own problem words if they aren't already in there? (I know it was hard to include the entire list). :)
Thanks for the additional tool to use for learning sight words. Can't wait to use this at school and offer as an option for parents to practice at home.

I love your stuff, it's so cute, but only problem is that when I download it, some of the words don't come through and it's like a black smudge...do you happen to know what I should do so I can use what you create with out doctoring it up! Thanks!
Hi Cjones618 -
You might have to upgrade your Adobe. A few people run into this problem and TpT has a solution for it:
"You just need to update your Adobe Reader. If you are on a Mac, do not open with Preview. It will not work. Download the most updated version of Adobe Reader and open the PDF with it (and not Preview)."
Hope that helps. You can e-mail me if you are still having trouble and I can e-mail you the file directly.
Very cute!! Thanks for all of the ideas on how to use these cards. My kiddos would absolutely die if I let them go fishing for them! Hadar Miss Kindergarten

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! I have a couple of suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, create a cover page which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use a product in your classroom even though the directions may be in the description. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your products.
I’d appreciate your input on my freebie listed below.
