I used this lesson with my fourth graders. It was a great success. I tweaked it by having my students write a five paragraph informational essay. Also, I just poked a hole where the students drew their mouths and pulled the balloon knot through and then I stapled the writing to the bottom of the plate. Thanks for posting!
LOVE the fonts! Very cute, thanks for sharing! My freebies are currently on my blog but I'll be uploading them here soon! <a ref>"alysiabattista.blogspot.com">Miss B, Busy Bee</a>
This is too cute and I am sure it will get kids excited about the writing topic. I love the fun artwork to accompany the writing...in primary grades, that always helps. I will be sharing this with my primary teaching friends!
Amazing idea!!! My kiddos are always trying to sneak gum in class (school rule) but now this will allow me to actually let them chew it :) Thank you for this great writing lesson.
