This is a budgeting project that takes exactly 50 minutes and requires the use of an excel spreadsheet.
A quick demo (5 to 10 minutes) is all that is needed for students to be able to do the project on their own.
Students print out the instructions and then use the instructions to create ten-year's worth of budgets. (They really understand budgets when they're done with this).
I include practice with amortization schedules and the entire project is SELF-GRADING!
You grade nothing!

In this activity, you say it grades itself. What is the answer sheet supposed to contain? I went through the exercise myself and came up with all zeros for each sheet except: B1 (-1824); B2 (-17844); B9 (-1800); B10 (-1800) I just need to know what the correct answers should be.
