This is a FUN insect game that will review numbers, letters, letter writing, spelling, and sight word recognition.
This pack includes:
4 student mats to help them "break the code"
4 sets of bugs with 3, and 4 letter
The words are
3 letters- bee, bug, dig, egg, eye, fly, hop, see, sip, sit, sky, web
4 letters- buzz, dirt, hide, jump, legs, leaf, look, roll, spin, spot,
tail, tree, walk, wing
5 letters- crawl, drink, grass, shell, sleep, water
Each bug has 32 cards, each sets of cards are the same.
It store easily and will be a great center or small group activity year after year!
I included worksheets and blank sheet for recording sheets.
AND I made an extra set of cards WITH QR CODES!
So cute! I love this idea and am sure my students will enjoy it! I'll probably save it until the end of the year because it's more "fun" than "work," but I love, love, love it!

I love this! This will be a great way to engage the students and differentiate the activities! I would have liked the packet to have had some kind of "check" sheet, or way for students or teacher to be able to quickly check that the words were decocoded correctly. Thanks!
Thanks for your kind comments and rating. My class LOVES these as well. It is a challenge for some, but I think that is a good thing!
Have a great summer.
