I have created 7 games that align to the First Grade Common Core Language Arts Standards. They would fit perfectly into stations or centers (or could be used as activities to teach with)! Each game has the standard listed as well as directions and possible variations plus a recording sheet. A few of the games have additional worksheets/cards for enrichment.
The games include:
*ABC Order
*Long Vowel vs. Short Vowel sort (A,E,I,O and U)
*Past/Present/Future Verb sort-students will sort sentences that are written in the past, present or future (today, tomorrow, yesterday). 2 different recording sheets are available for this as well; 1-Writing the sentences that were sorted; 2-picking their own verb and writing a sentence with it for each-today, tomorrow and yesterday
*Label Me-2 pictures with lines for students to label using an adjective and noun; There are ones with a word bank and another without.
*Contraction Sort-students will sort contractions by whether they are spelled correctly or not. They will record ONLY the correct ones.
*Type of Sentence Sort-students will sort declarative, interrogative and exclamatory statements.
*Fix a Sentence-students will edit sentences and write them correctly
All games have a catching bugs theme.
