Get your hard hats ready! This super cute literacy center will have your students working hard to read, build and write lots of high-frequency words. Just print out word-building cards and laminate. Make a copy of the reproducible for each student and... PRESTO! your center is ready!
(Use with plastic letter tiles, magnetic letters, small letter cards, etc...)
There is also a blank page of word cards so that you can add your own words to this center.
Ive been looking for meaningful activities for my "centers" time. I am a first year teacher and this should really be helpful. Simple enough to create but meaningful. thx

I'm a special aid teacher for autism students and this literacy centre is perfect. The only thing is it possible to make a special order using my words that I will be using over the course of the school year. I will pay for the order.
Thank you
Yes I do special orders! Just email me with your request: firstgradefever@gmail.com
Thanks!

Hi Christie,
I just downloaded this center today and when I opened the file the instructions for the center do not appear. There is a shadow where the instructions should be. I have a mac. Any suggestions? I would truly appreciate your help.
Oh that's not good! If you don't mind emailing me & then I will send it to you in a couple of different formats to see if that will solve that problem for you.
Christie :)
