I love to play games in my classroom! This is a GREAT game to use no matter what subject you are teaching or concept you want to review.

In this Build a Hamburger game packet, you will find:
-Directions and examples of ways to play the game
-Game Pieces with two printing options (one in color for printing on a colored printer or black and white to copy on construction paper)

I hope your students enjoy this game! Please leave your comments and feedback. I would love to hear from you. Also, follow me to receive notifications about my other TPT products, freebies, and sales.

Thanks for visiting and checking out my products.

This was the greatest thing I've ever done. I let my kids bring a soda when we do this and my PTO gave me some free kids meal coupons to the children who were able to build their burgers quickly. My favorite product to date.

I don't have a question, just a comment. My students loved using this to review last year!! I don't think we ever had so much fun reviewing and yet the hamburger game is so simple! So, thank you.

how would you play this game with the class? I am having a hard time seeing it with whole group as it would take great time and i would see it hard to differentiate. Small group with me I can easily see. If I used it for groups (whole group) it might work for each table to try to build the hamburger. I would appreciate a little clarification. It might just be my summer brain not fully functioning.

Thanks,
Melissa Harrell

Melissa,

There may be other ways to play this whole group, but this is how I play it whole group. I divide the class up into teams. I take turns asking each team questions, if the team answers the question correctly, then they can add a piece of the hamburger to the plate. The first group to complete the whole hamburger wins. I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Nicole

Hi! This is not a question but a suggestion. I noticed on your hamburger review freebie that you don't have your name and TpT store on the bottom of every page. I think you should add that information right away so that when people make copies and give them to their teacher friends, people will know that this is your work. Most people probably won't print the cover or back page so they will soon forget who had the great idea! Just a tip from a fellow seller!

Thanks so much! I will do that now. Honestly, that has been in my store for quite some time. I have learned a lot since I started in October. :)

Again, thank you and I appreciate you taking the time to send the suggestion. I am also very honored that you actually checked my products.

Nicole, I'm wondering if you would be able to fit more pieces on each black&white page, with less white space between. Less photocopying, yay! I absolutely LOVE your activity, and will be using it asap. A fabulous idea. Thanks! - Sherry

Sherry,
I will try to work on that soon. Currently, my laptop is in the shop for repairs and my loaner one does not have all the programs that I use to make my TPT products. Glad you like the activity. :)

Thanks,
Nicole
