Build your own Visual Arts Jeopardy for the Chalk Board

Don't have a smart board? Don't have a data projector? Don't worry! This package allows you to create your own Jeopardy game for Visual Arts classes without the need for technology. One file contains all the numbers (print off, laminate, and cut apart). One file contains 27 different category titles that you could chose from (both as a PDF and a WordPerfect File). I've included three files which are games that I've played with my students (both as PDFs and as WordPerfect Files so that you can modify them). I've also included a blank Jeopardy file for you to set up your own questions (both as a PDF and a WordPerfect File). To play the game, you simply tape or pin up the numbers and titles on a chalk board or bulletin board. Only you have the question/answer page. Students select the category and question....you read it off your page. If the student gets the right answer, take the number off the board, and give it to them. I usually do teams of students. At the end of the game I usually have a final Jeopardy question where the teams can wager some of their points....(here's where the numeracy in the classroom comes in)....students need to add up all their point, etc. The nice thing about these files are that you only have to produce the numbers one. I have a set made that live in a small box....I made it almost 20 years ago and it's still going strong! All my titles are in that box also. You can create Jeopardy games quickly and easily on the one page and now you have an interactive game where students need to get up and move, and do numeracy skills at the same time. I even bought 5 silver bells (the kind you see at a service counter) that the teams use to buzz in! The kids love it!
