This set of 66 (and counting) emergent readers provides students with an opportunity to read and spell sight words in a hands-on way. Each Interactive Sight Word Reader highlights one word to study. Every book shows a themed predictable sentence that is missing the word of study. Students will cut letters apart (included), then unscramble and glue the letters into each page to correctly spell the featured sight word. Picture support is also included throughout the readers.

The following Interactive Sight Word Readers are included in this collection (the featured sight word for each book is displayed in ALL CAPS). Books are arranged in alphabetical order and sorted by the featured sight word.

Hi Maria- Two of my kinder colleagues have bought "additional" licences. Now another teacher is considering buying an "additional" license, but I don't see a link to do that. How much would another license cost? (right now of course)

The current price for an additional license is $14. To purchase a second license at a discount, simply go to "My Purchases" (on the gray banner across the top of the TpT page), scroll down to the Bundle, and click the orange "Buy Additional License" button.

Hi Maria,

I've download other books of yours and now just found this Bundle, however, I just downloaded it and went to save it in my computer and a message is coming up saying the owner password protected it. I've never seen this before. I've spent hundreds of dollars on TpT and have never come across this before. HELP!

The file should only be password protected to prevent copying images or text. You should be able to open the file and save it to your computer with issue. 90% of my products are password protected and it is not typically an issue for customers. Go to "my purchases" and try to download a fresh copy of the file, then save them to your computer as usual. Hopefully this will resolve the issue. Yes! All books in the bundle are grammatically correct with accurate capitalization. Words are listed in all caps in the product description only for the purpose of clearly showing the featured sight word in each book.

Hi! lovin lovin lovin your books! It's so much fun to see a new one pop up & knowing we'll get it free since we've already bought your bundle. For anyone not yet owning these...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! The kiddos LOVE them...there are SO MANY skills strengthened! Since they are top/bottom same...they are super simple to run off & put together! I wondering if "come" & "little" are in the works? NO WORRIES & NO COMPLAINTS! It's really fun to see what is next & weaving it into our week. Thanks, Maria! Hope your CSW is fun & not too frenzied! Can't hardly wait to put your "in" book to use. I am so happy you like the book for CSW! Thank you for the sight word suggestions... I never really know what word is in the works until I'm struck with a new idea. I will stare at my clip art and see if I can come up with something for "come" or "little". Inspiration may or may not strike, but I will give it my best effort!

Hi Maria,
I was wondering if you would consider making a book bundle like this that is similar to what you have but without the holiday themed books - just more secular. At my school we're not allowed to celebrate Halloween or Christmas so having the Santa/ornaments/candy canes in the books might get me in trouble. I personally LOVE them, but there is a "ban" of sorts in effect. Please consider this because I would really love to buy your bundle. I love this idea of working with sight words.

Hi and thank you for your question!

Part of the reason that I discount the set of books so much is because I know that most teachers will not use all of the books in the entire bundle. Some of the sight words are too easy or hard for some classrooms, some books are too much of a challenge, and some of the themes of the books can't be used in all classrooms. I would love to accommodate your request, but that would obligate me to creating several other bundles to meet the unique classroom needs of so many others. I am so sorry but it is not likely that I will be creating a non-holiday bundle in the foreseeable future.

But I greatly appreciate all of your support - your username is one that I recognize. If you have sight word and/or theme requests for future books please pass them along and I will see what I can do.

I tried to buy additional licenses so I can share this with fellow Kindergarten teachers...but I couldn't get it to work. Is there anything I can do now that I paid?

I love your books. I already had so many of them. I needed to get the rest before the price went up again ( I think I counted 8...). I've been using them to teach and review my sight words.

Each book includes a cover page plus 5 pages with sentences, plus a separate page containing the words to cut out. I occasionally create religious-themed readers for free. Here is a link to one- it is set up in the same format as all of the paid books (religious books are not included in the bundle because I don't want to inflate the price of the bundle by adding books that teachers are unable to use in a public school classroom).
