This fliphcart is for Promethean/ActivBoard...the ActivInspire software for ActivBoard can be downloaded at this link...the download option is near the bottom of that page. http://www.prometheanworld.com/en-us/education/products/software/activinspire

Do you know if this can be used with the Smartboard or is it only for the ActivBoard?

It will work with SMART but you have to download ActivInspire software for free... I'll put the link on the bottom of this message. At some point it will ask you to run personal or professional....choose personal. I do have many people buy things from me for SmartBoards and other types of interactive whiteboards but I am not sure how different it is since I do not have a SMARTboard. Let me know how it works for you.
