Here are lab books for recording: facts, life cycle and growth observations for butterflies, ladybugs, frogs, chicks, and a generic format for the animal of your choice.
I have used this,in my first and second grade classrooms for our life-cycle studies and the students learn so much from keeping a lab book.
We have them out every year as part of our school science fair along with our other experiments.
Included for EACH lab book:
Cover
KWL
Needs Bubble Web
Life Cycle Chart
Growth Observation Record Sheets
Video Response Sheet
These lab books coordinate wonderfully with my Bug Jar Unit. Check it out!
