This student journal is a perfect way to tie in literacy and math with your butterfly study. Students will record their observations of their butterfly at various stages of development. Students will also be able to record their findings on a calendar. Current calendars are for 2013 and will be updated yearly. Blank calendars are also included. This listing also gives alternative pages to best fit the needs of your classroom. If you are raising butterflies in your classroom, this book is a must have!

We are just finishing our Butterfly Unit and found this book to be a really great way to record all our "observations!" I photocopied it onto heavy paper and bound it, so that it would be able to stand up to many uses...the kids love their books!

I'm Breeana, and I am the face behind Kindergarten Whale Tales. I am teaching my sixth year of kindergarten in the school district that I grew up in. I never saw myself as a kindergarten teacher, but I was blessed with this position and now I can't see myself teaching anything else.
