This is a ready to use poetry station. Just print and use right away. Some of the activities could be adapted to the whole group as well.
This packet includes:
-a title page with instructions for the station
-a copy of the poem Pretty Butterfly
-a mixed up copy of the poem
-words for a pocket chart activity
-word search for different vowels patterns, rhyming words, core words, etc.
-a page to illustrate what you visualize while reading
-a "Think About It Question" from the poem which the children will support with details from the poem and their schema
These activities will keep your children authenically engaged during station time so you can concentrate on reading!
