This is a set of 5 different CVC games that are perfect for centers or the word work station for Daily 5. The only materials needed are counters and dice. There are recording sheets for two of the games if you choose to use them.
Pages 2-5: 4 in a Row (4 gameboards)- Partners choose a spot to play their counter, read the word, and play goes to the next student. The winner is the first one to get 4 in a row.
Pages 6-12: Left, Right, Learn- Partners choose a card, read the word, and move left or right depending on what the card states. The first player to make it to the end is the winner.
Pages 13-20: Igloo Move- Partners draw a card and read the word. If it's a real word they move to the next real space. If it's a nonsense word, they move to the next fake space. The first player to the end is the winner.
Pages 21-24: 4 Clovers (3 gameboards)- This St. Patrick's Day game can be played in partners or small groups. Players roll a dice, move that many spaces, read the word, and play goes to the next player. The first player to make it around 4 times is the winner. There is a recording sheet that is optional but makes students more accountable and engaged.
Pages 25-28: Easter Hop (3 gameboards)- This Easter game can be played in partners or small groups. Players roll a dice, move that many spaces, read the word, and play goes to the next player. The first player to hop around 3 times is the winner. There is a recording sheet that is optional but makes students more accountable and engaged
I can't wait to use these in the fall! They will be a great addition for my workstations, or during guided reading groups. Thanks so much for your hard work!

Thanks! I am K-3 so I did the K-2 one so you probably wouldn't have found me anyway :) Thanks for stopping by and let me know if you have any questions. I would be happy to share the promotions I did within this last week while I was on spring break. I gained about 100 fb followers so I'm really happy with that!
I've served as a Reading teacher K-5, a Differentiated Instruction Coach, as a Team Leader for the primary grades, and now I'm back to my roots an am a RtI Coordinator for a K-8 school.
