CVC words are the foundation of any child's reading skills. Use these mats and letter cards to build CVC words-- each word will have a sticky vowel in the middle. Students can record the words they made on the recording sheet and sort the words onto a Tree Map according to vowel sound.

I love these CVC mats and so do my students. I have been putting them out as a morning activity and they are popular. I didn't have time to laminate so I printed them off and put them inside page protectors. The kids have been using the dry-erase markers with these and enjoy the activity. The pictures are colourful and large. Thanks
