An interesting study unit for the play, complete with vocabulary assignments, poetry connections, "hero" type identification with handout, and other group discussion topics, and analytic questions for each act are included in the classroom tested file. No answer keys provided.
An essay assignment based on poetic quotes is included, with student handout. Student poetry writing assignment aligned with one in the play is included, including student handout.
Teacher directions assist in the presentation to the class and give ideas for using the student materials on the file. A student read-aloud roster makes assigning roles simple.
Two word searches are included in this twenty-five (25) page file.
A creative and insightful unit -- very helpful. Excellent focus questions and essay prompts. I especially liked addition of other poems to compare with Cyrano and the character role sheets for reader's theater. Good value for these lessons.
