This is a two week unit designed to introduce K-2 students to the art work in Caldecott Medal and Honor books. The books used for this unit include The Snowy Day, Where the Wild Things Are, Owl Moon, Joseph Had a Little Overcoat, Tuesday, Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, Make Way for Ducklings, Rapunzel, and Kitten's First Full Moon. Examples of student work are also included. Share the wonderful world of Caldecott books with your young students with fun art projects! All art mediums are listed with definitions of the not-so-well-known art terms.
Anxious to use this in the library as an end of the year fun project!

Each of these pages is simply a place for the students to create their art. There is no lesson about the art, or how it relates to the book - I'll still have to do the work. I feel that the seller misrepresented the product. Not worth $5, when it could have taken me five minutes to create this as a word document. Truly disappointed.
You are right when you say each of the pages are where the kids create their art. What you TOTALLY MISSED is that there is info about each book and the medium that was used. This was meant for a lower el. classroom...not for art students in art school. No where in my description does it say it has lessons about the art. And for the record....it took way longer than 5 minutes to create the pages in a word document. I'm disappointed that you did not read the description fully AND that you did not look through the unit fully. You left feedback immediately after your purchase. Hopefully in the future when you shop on TPT, you give the seller a little more credit than you did here. Such a bummer that you ruined my perfect feedback score on one of my more popular items. Did you see the other feedback that buyers left on this item? Nothing but POSITIVE!!!!!!
