PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Directions:
At the beginning of the month, post the first pattern piece and just talk about what the students notice. On day 2, add the second piece and discuss what has changed. Do this again for the next couple of days until the students start to notice a pattern emerging. For each additional day after that, allow the students time to predict how a pattern piece will appear before showing it to the students. List ideas for the pattern predictions on chart paper, and as a pattern is proven or disprove, record this on the chart. At the end of the month, you can quiz students on some of the skills from the pattern, such as square numbers, multiple of number, and prime\composite numbers.

So helpful. Love the variety of patterns. Just what my high math students like to see in a calendar pattern!

Actually, if you print them at 75% size they fit pretty well...maybe include that advice as part of your products. I'll definitely be purchasing some of these for next year from you :) I noticed you don't have one for May/June though, I was hoping to find a summer theme.

Thanks for letting me know that works. I will include that on the directions. My friend has some for sale too that would work for May/June. Here is her link: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Kim-Gulledge
Thanks so much for purchasing this item!

Only problem I have with these is they are just a smidge too big for the Every Day Counts calendar squares (which I know a lot of schools use). Might be something to think about.
