The Calendar is something we do daily in my classroom, and this lesson plan was developed to make the most out of this time. Specifically, the following skills are targeted: Number Sense and Counting, Observing,
Communicating, Graphing, and Patterns.
This easy-to-follow lesson plan includes standards, materials necessary, objective, extension activities, and more. The use of songs and student interaction is encouraged in the lesson and the needs of all students (gifted, lower level, etc...) are addressed.
